Flag Football

Welcome to our Football Family!

The Kenosha Youth Football League is the largest flag football program in SE Wisconsin with the 2026 season being our 13th season! Our flag football program consists of co-ed teams, with 5 different playing levels (based on age), for kids aged 5-14yrs (current high schoolers excluded).

Our flag league will continue to have games played on Saturday afternoons locally.

Ages

What aged players are appropriate for this program?

Spring Flag Football is for all girls and boys, ages 5-14yrs old (no current high schoolers).

When

What time of the year does this program run?

Flag football occurs in the Spring with key dates as follows:

1st practice will be 4/23/2026
1st game will be 5/2/2026
Last game of the season will be 6/13/2026

Where

Where are practices and games typically held?

Tremper High School - on their JV football fields

Practices

When are practices and how often are they?

Flag practices will be every Thursday from 5:30-7:30PM.

Games

How many games will they play? What days of the week?

Flag will run for 7 weeks with all games held on Saturday.

Jerseys

Are jerseys provided or are they purchased separately?

Flag participants will be provided a flag jersey, belt and flags.

What costs beyond registration fees should be expected?

Included in registration are:

Note: In prior seasons, a soft helmet was required for play. After 2 seasons of feedback from parents and players, we will no longer require helmets be worn by players.
